These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Ata Doğmaz ("we", "us") governing your use of the ScanLeaf application ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Usage Rules in Apple's App Store Terms of Service and these Terms. You may not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, or resell the app except as permitted by law.
ScanLeaf offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, ScanLeaf Pro, that unlocks premium features. Subscriptions are available as monthly and annual plans. Introductory free trials may be offered (for example, 3 days on the monthly plan and 7 days on the annual plan); if you do not cancel before a free trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region; we may change prices with notice as permitted by Apple.
You are solely responsible for the documents you scan, import, edit, and share with the app, and for having the right to do so. The app processes your content on your device; we do not review or store it. Do not use the app to create or distribute unlawful material.
You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its intended operation, or use it in violation of applicable law. Features such as text recognition and enhancement are provided on an as-available basis and their accuracy is not guaranteed.
The app, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Ata Doğmaz and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property other than the limited license above.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important documents.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app.
These Terms remain in effect while you use the app. We may suspend or end the license if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived; if you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the UK, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
These Terms are between you and Ata Doğmaz only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Your license to use the app is limited to a non-transferable license to use it on Apple-branded products you own or control, subject to the Usage Rules in Apple's terms.
Ata Doğmaz, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and for providing any maintenance and support, which Apple has no obligation to furnish. In the event the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
Ata Doğmaz, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory non-compliance, and consumer protection or intellectual-property claims. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting," and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
